Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Lublin. In 2000-2015, head of the Department of Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology at the Military Medical Institute of the Ministry of National Defence in Warsaw. In 2015-2018, head of the Gynaecological Oncology Department at the Center of Oncology of the Lublin Region. Since 2018, head of the Surgical Gynaecology Unit, 1st Department and Clinic of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, at the Medical University of Warsaw. Since 2020, consultant at the Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology Clinic of the Military Medical Institute. He was awarded his academic title of Professor of Medical Sciences on 31 July 2000 by the decision of the President of the Republic of Poland. Full Professor of Medical Sciences since 2004. Author of over 200 conference communications and papers. Main fields of professional interest: Surgical gynaecology, including: Gynaecological oncology — full range of radical surgeries for cancer of the reproductive organs. Gynaecological endoscopy — full range of endoscopic surgeries (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy), including laparoscopic surgeries for urinary incontinence and laparoscopic surgeries for cancer. He has on multiple occasions lectured and demonstrated procedures at gynaecological endoscopy courses. Urogynaecology — full range of urogynaecological operations, especially for urinary incontinence (TVT, TOT) and female genital prolapse. He has on multiple occasions lectured and demonstrated procedures at national courses. Minimally invasive gynaecological surgery (including minimally invasive treatment of uterine fibroids). Gynaecological endocrinology — fertility disorders (cooperation with an infertility treatment centre) and endocrinology of the menopause.
